How to apply?
First of all you should have access to a computer, internet access and headphones. Transcription work experience isn't a requirement but you need to pass an easy short test before qualifying to work for QA World.
It's a really quick test that's meant to test your understanding of english comprehension, spelling, punctuation and grammar. After you submit your transcription, you'll instantly get notified about whether you passed the test or not.
Don't worry if you didn't pass the test the first time. You can always reapply!
After you get accepted, make sure to review the FAQs and the company guidelines. Every transcription company has it's own guidelines to ensure quality and consistency. It's very important to follow the quidelines. You'll complete a short quiz to test your understanding of the guidelines before starting to work.
Pay rate
The pay rate is approximately $0,20 per audio minute. However, pay rate varies depending on the quality and difficulty of the call.
What's great about QA World is that it offers extra bonuses depending on how many audio minutes you have transcribed. For example, you earn an extra $2 bonus for transcribing 100 minutes per week!
